Stronghold Community Food Pantry has identified opportunities to help serve Soldiers and their families amid rising food insecurities.

Research conducted by the Department of Defense, released in 2022, found that 24% of active duty service members and 1 in 4 military families face food insecurity. The USDA defines food insecurity as limited access to adequate food for every family member in a household to live an active and healthy life.
