At Stronghold Food Pantry, we believe no military family should feel unseen or unsupported—especially during the holidays. Stronghold at the Table is our annual Thanksgiving program, created to ensure military families across the nation can gather around a table filled with not just food, but dignity, warmth, and care.

Maria is the mastermind behind "Moving with the Military," a series that brings the joy of surprise home makeovers to military families. As an active duty military spouse for 20 years, she deeply understands the unique challenges and triumphs that come with military life. Maria's journey has taught her invaluable lessons about resilience, strength, and resourcefulness. For her, home isn’t just a place; it’s a feeling we all cherish. With her leadership, the team works tirelessly to create magical moments that remind families they are seen and celebrated.

Monica is the inspiring founder and CEO of Stronghold Food Pantry, dedicated to providing support to military families facing food insecurity with dignity and care. What began as a passionate effort from her garage has transformed into her life’s work. As the daughter of a Vietnam veteran and a military spouse for over ten years, she understands the unique challenges military families face. Driven by a commitment to support those who serve our nation, Monica believes that needing support, especially with food, does not define a person or a family; instead, it's an opportunity to lead with compassion and empower a community through knowledge, fostering a cycle of positivitely and service. Under her guidance, Stronghold has become a trusted lifeline for military families around the globe.

Monica and Stronghold, along with Maria and Moving with the Military, have united in a shared belief: the military community is one family. Together, we are committed to giving back. We also understand the importance of military families creating memories, especially around the kitchen table—while Stronghold provides nourishing meals, Moving with the Military transforms homes into welcoming spaces.
